MAMBA BEAT: Bio y discografía
Mamba Beat nace en Bilbao 2006. La ciudad demandaba una referencia entorno al acid-jazz que animara a la gente a bailar con ritmos potentes. Para satisfacer esa sed Mamba Beat presenta una fórmula venenosa más salvaje y actualizada, bautizada como House-funk, el hermano joven y enérgico del acid-jazz: Electrónica de nueva concepción, bajos y bombos que atrapan, ritmos funkys frenéticos, viajes étnicos de la mano del worldbeat, descargas de jazz y latin, metales que arden, voces rotas,...todo al servicio del ritual en la pista de baile.
En el 2007 llega su primera ofrenda al baile con el primer álbum editado por Gaztelupeko Hotsak. Valoración muy positiva y sorprendida de los medios y más de 30 conciertos calientes en salas y festivales en Euskadi y otros puntos de la geografía estatal y Francia.
A finales del 2008 se recluyen en el local y en el estudio y en 2009 llega su segunda entrega: Energía, con el sello Baga-biga. Salto cualitativo en el sonido con temas más directos y comunicativos. Resultado: Bomba energética con una excelente acogida en todos los medios y en su espectacular presentación en el Kafe Antzokia de Bilbao.
Y a partir de ahí comienza una larga lista de conciertos: gira 2010 por toda la península (Barcelona, Madrid, Galicia, Canarias, Andalucia, Cantabria, Badajoz, Toledo, Leon, Huesca,...) y en Alemania y Francia.
Mamba beat is formed in Bilbao in 2006, as a need of the city for a reference to the acid jazz music in order to encourage people to dance using powerful beats. To fulfill this thirst, Mamba Beat offers a new wildest, poisonous and updated formula. It is baptized as house funk, the young and energetic brother of the acid jazz. A new conception of the electronic music, with bass guitar and drums that grab you, frenetic funky beats, ethnic incursions on the world beat, discharges of jazz and Latin music, burning brasses, broken voices,…. all of them with only one purpose, to be the recipe for the dance floor ritual. In 2007, Mamba Beat’s first album came out, published by Gaztelupeko Hotsak. It is an offering to the gods of dancing. With very amusing and positive reviews from the media, and more than 30 gigs in venues and music festivals in the Basque country and all over the Spanish state and France. To the end of 2008, their members got confined in the practice room and in the studio, therefore in 2009, its second issue “Energy” is published with the label Baga-biga. It reaches a milestone for improvement in its sound. It has more direct and communicative themes. The result it is an energetic bomb with a warm welcome by the media and a spectacular presentation on stage at the Kafe Antzokia in Bilbao. And from there, a huge list of programmed gigs it has just begun.
Mamba Beat Bilbon jaio zen 2006an. Hiria zai zegoen: erritmo potenteekin dantza egiteko acid-jazz inguruko erreferentzia bat behar zuen. Egarri hori asetzeko Mamba Beatek formula pozoitsu berri bat aurkezten du, basatia eta gaurkotua, eta House-Funk izena ipiniko dio, Acid-jazzaren anaia gazte eta energikoa izango da. Elektronika berritzailea, harrapatzen zaituzten bonbo eta baxuak, funky erritmo frenetikoak, worldbeat-aren eskutik bidai etnikoak, jazz eta latin solo deskargak, metalak sutan, ahots urratuak... dena dantzalekuko erritoaren zerbitzura. 2007an dantzarako lehenengo eskaintza aurkezten dute Gaztelupeko Hotsak zigiluaren 11 abestiko bilduman. Medioetan balorazio oso positiboak, harridura, eta horren ostean 30etik gorako kontzertu beroak, Euskalherrian zehar, estatuko beste zenbait lekutan eta Frantzian. 2008aren amaiera aldean berriro lokalean sartu, estudioetatik pasatu eta 2009rako euren 2. lana aurkezten dute Baga-biga zigiluarekin: Energia. Jauzi kualitatibo nabarmena bai soinuan eta baita musikan ere, tema zuzenago eta komunikatiboagoekin.
